Did you do that pixel by pixel or was it a render?

If that is pixel by pixel your damn amazing.

    Quick question:

For a lot of the edges you made them look rounder, how do you do that?

Whenever I try pixel by pixel it looks all square.

Not pix by pix these are brushes and simply do not require alot of skills to use.

No offence but they are what you call them when compared to your pixel work. Garbage. D:

Just read some general tutorials or stickies, get to know some of the basics of focals and flow. ;)

The first one is the best. But they all pretty much suck.

But they are better then I can do.

I told you guys these were garbage. Took me less than 10 minutes for each. I was just messing around.

Lol, coming from someone with skill like you, I would expect a different comment. You should know that although brushes are easy to use, it's the eye of design that gets the result. Not necesarilly how "hard" it is to use a brush. :noworry:

    "Makes me feel better"... Lol.

If I wanted to feel good about myself I wouldn't have posted these, smartass. I posted them so people would tell me how to improve. Since these are experimenting with new styles, I would like to broaden my horizons a bit.

    -.-

So far nobody has given me any useful information.

    Then don't post?

Where is the lighting!? On the sprite, it has almost no effects and the spinning swirly effect is just kind of annoying. Generally, to make sprites more visible and to focus them more effectively, you should try to create some kind of "aura" around them. That's how I learned. I found that once I could do that, it was much easier to create effects and focus the sprite well. When creating depth in signatures with sprites as the focal, it is a good idea to do some strong overlapping effects, be careful though, to try and add some depth. Lighting combined with those overlaps will make the signature a lot more interesting.

Add me on msn if you want some help on sprites or something, I'll try to help when I can. I like sprites :p

Thank you Bbri, finally some legit help!

I'll definintly add you, but I'm barely ever on. I use aim.

I really like how sprites turn out (when other people do them) and I would like to try to get good at them, etc. I never read any tutorials on them, I was just wingin' it. All I did was some smudging, lol. I didn't really know what to do or how to do it, but I'll check out some tutorials later and see what I can learn. I'll also hit you up at some point and get some one on one input.

    Thanks bro.
