Is this true about gold trading?

I think this is the right part to post in. But anyway, I was wondering if this is true, although I'm sure it's not. I was on playkiller and asked how much of a risk to my account it is to buy gold. and they said there is no risk at all. Here's what was said. By the way I replaced my name with stars for safety purposes.

It's quite true, actually. Most people that get caught for RWT are the ones that sell, not buy.

 

I'm not sure about buying, but I've been selling RSGP for a long time and I've never been punished for anything. My RSN isn't hard to figure out bahahha.

I believe their agenda consists of stopping a few bots every 6 months, stopping a few gamblers every 8 months, and creating new microtransactions every week =p.

That's a damn lie. I've known people who have been banned/wiped by Jagex in the past for both buying and selling gold.

 

Its not that risky for people buying small amounts of gold, but a very risky game for the RWT's because they have massive amounts of gold on a noob account which seems pretty obvious lol.

 

I have to call BS on that. I've heard reports of people getting banned for RWT simply because they bought from chinese gold-selling sites like that one. With that info I'd imagine it's a red flag to receive gold from a player with an IP address originated from China.

If you're looking to buy gold try to steer clear of places like that and just buy from private, trusted sellers.

Never got banned buying not sure about selling. it's always a risk just be safe

 

I've seen it happen, if the seller gets caught then all the buyers are at risk of getting caught.

 

No problem. Its rare that gold buyers get banned tbh, unless you buy in ridiculously huge amounts, say 100M shards at a time.

 

Obviously they are just trying to make a sale, of course there is risk, they can't guarantee you won't be banned.
