Digital Drawings - Goku *BIG*

I got my new graphics tablet today and I thought i'd attempt and draw Goku, Its NOT finished and i'll keep updating this thread



From here i didn't look at the picture at all except for some ideas for the face.

 

Honestly, if you're going to trace something, at least admit you traced it.

It's a good way to learn how to use the tablet - I've done a few of them while working on shading - but it's a cheap way to show off your "drawing ability".

I didn't say i didn't trace it lol, Its my 1st time using one, what'ya expect :L

 

Your goal to "attempt and draw Goku" implies actual drawing. It's kind of obvious that you didn't make the thread just to show off how well you can color within the lines.

Try an original work. Or, pick a subject that's not just solid colors. It doesn't matter if it's a bit rough at first - that's how you'll learn.

But really, the coloring is decent, you should work on muscle definition and neck tendons (and art subjects, DBZ is SOOOOOO 10 years ago)

Lastly, the ear is fucked up, you should try to fix it instead of just keeping what you traced
