[rate] my first sig lol...

So, i got photoshop CS4, and i was bored so i'm like.. I'll try to make a siggy of something..

here's the piece of shit lol.




I don't know how to work photoshop worth a shit.
i couldn't figure out how to make the letters the way i wanted them.


If you could help me improve this sig, please pm me.

It's not too bad for your first, but you should use colors more fluent with the picture, besides, those colors really put a strain on my eyes

 

Yeah, I agree pretty much 100%. Choose lighter colors that match the image more, also, they look better when you make them about 350X130.
By the way, this is the wrong section.

 

A long with the previous two posts, the colours font match and are hard on the eyes, I also think his skin is too bright but I think they're good considering your experience. Just keep practicing =)

Background is abit too much, you either need to change the colour to something not so loud, or if it's a Layer on it's own, change the Opacity. You need to blend your render more with the background, if you pick the right renders they just seem to go together well straight away. Not bad for your first attempt though.

Another suggestion is to follow some tutorials first, then try and change some steps to make it your own. Then try and make something of the top of your head by remembering some of those steps on the tutorial.

 

I would say use DIFFERENT colours. That red is just so bright and painful for the eyes in my opinion. You should try a car sig for your first sig, apperantly they're really easy to do.
