One of the most famous players of the time, Elvemage was known for his deep wild PKing and hybridding. Mage bank? Green drags? Edge? You name it, he's been there and demolished there. Some regard him as the main inspiration for the deep wild PKers and clans that started making vids shortly after he became popular.

These two were the icons for staking, it seemed to the average player that they had more phats that they knew what to do with.
