    Cons Of Wildy/free Trade Back?

What i think ( if they changed it back to exactly 07 )

    -Dragon bones rise
    -Frost bones rise
-Rares with street value plummet in terms of their street value
-most items like whip/fury to drop in price
    anymore to add?

    Cons Of Wildy/free Trade Back?

No more market clogging equals easier trade, the prices will go down in my opinion.

    On topic :

For those in the black market business, the USD (real cash) prices of gold could go down since I predict the demand for gold will be much lower than the supply.

How many people don't sell their MILLIONS or even BILLIONS because it's SUCH A PAIN IN THE ASS to find a nice xfer method? Only a select few knew the really good methods and the rest of the peons were generally stuck with the crap that did 1-5 million an hour. With free trade, ANY SINGLE GUY can come on and sell. This is all assuming of course there's WAY less surveillance like back in the old days, it's hard to predict what the update will be like.

@ determinate ooooh :) loved thos times!
@marda the new pvp drop system was mainy why gold prices dropped so much from $3/4 to $1.50/$1.25.

this is because the opponents items disappear most of the times and are replaced with stats that worth GP.

therefore, the prices of items rise, and there is alot of GP being introduced daily.

    hence gold prices dropped.

    He's still right though.

There are probably quite a few old accounts with several hundred millions or billions of GP available for selling.

If free trade is reinstated, it is logical to assume that some of these accounts will become active again with the intent of selling their gold.

The fact that the price of the gold is lower in general compared to 2007 is due to PVP inflation, but the fact that gold prices will probably drop a little more is due to what Marda was describing.
