Just looked it up. No you can't do the glitch with it but it gives the same bonuses as before and shouldn't be any different for what your using it with.

 

I have been told people are able to glitch to nullify the affect of the sol spec. Friend was getting hit 240's by a whip when he had done the spec

 

the special still gives the +50% melee damage negate bonus.
it might seem to have been dulled in the duel arena though, because faGex is just gay like that.
The effect is still there.. they just like to make things all about luck weather you have an upperhand or not.
