Soft Bans

Has anyone else experienced a soft ban yet? I have yet to bot but I use the sythe poké app on nox to hop around a highly populated city about 500km from my home.

I managed to find a 2079 dragonite this morning, when I threw my first ultra ball, he escaped without a wiggle. Finding that odd, I tried to hit a pokéstop to no avail. It wouldn't give any items and the circle just kept spinning.

I ended up googling it to find I had been soft banned for an unspecified amount of time. The easy method to get unbanned was to find a pokéstop and spin it about 50-60 times.

It was annoying to have occur and I'm curious as to how many times my account can receive a soft ban before they slap me with a perma. Anyone else have experience with this? I saw some botting software has an incorporated unbanning script to just spin at pokéstops.

How many times people.. How many bans can I receive before I'm donezo?

 

I don't think there is any legitimate statistics that can answer this honestly. I can tell you this though, I've had a few accounts I've ran through bots before that have been soft banned at least twice a day and they're still alive.

Question you have to ask is, is it a delayed perma ban, or just lazy mods?

 

As far as I know it, no one has been permabanned for botting on PokemonGo yet, and tbh I doubt they ever will.

I've been soft banned 7-8 times and haven't been perma banned
