    What's the point?

I don't know where i'm going in life, I quit RS recently and i just stopped doing everything, i just do nothing, I've been outside the past three days and i've wasted £50 ($80 or so) on shit. I've recently got a job and he charges minimum wage etc and he's pissing me off but that's a different story.

what should i do? I need something to aim for.

Find a long-term goal/purpose. There are things that you want to do, but don't know about.

Then make it your purpose to find a purpose. Consider the exams as a barricade between you and your future. Cross it, and you'll get closer to having lived a full life.

If you're into sports, you can try extreme sporting like surfing, snowboarding, ski-diving, base jumping, ect. with some friends...this can motivate you (in other words get your adrenalin)

It's good that you atleast decided to break from gaming and even have a job!

For me, whenever I feel down I hop on my long board and cruise around my area. Look around for hobbies that may interest you, or try picking up a musical instrument? :)

    What's the point?

Is quitting Runescape what caused you to become unmotivated?
In my experience, when you quit something that you really are attached to, you must have something to replace it. Try picking up a musical instrument (like Tiger said), or maybe trying out for a sport.
Or, you could find yourself a goal and strive for it, to make your job worthwhile. Like buying a car, etc.

    What's the point?

If you used to play, and I'm being serious... and it made you "happy" or motivated, you should bot the game, to a slow de-attachment.

Getting a job was great, now think what you can do with it. Open your mind and see all possibilities, what is it what you want to achieve, are you doing it?

A new hobby would be great, it has always helped me

    What's the point?

You need to find an intrinsic 'thing' if you like to work for.

Some good things to get you thinking:

    What are your hobbies?
Where do you want to be when your older? (optimistic)
What do you want to be when your older (realistic)

    Aim for your optimistic goal.

Try to get into the things that made you happy before, and try watching tv to get your mind off things.

    What's the point?

If gaming made you happy then go back to it. Its hard for younger people to know exactly what they want in life it usually just happens. Try doing a new thing everyday. stay positive.

TORNADO! Just aim for the experience of life. With the first little statement I tried to get your attention so you would read all of this. As many people know, a massive disaster happened in Alabama, a tornado. Many people died, lost power, and lost loved ones. Me and a group of my friends have came together and we drove down to Alabama with tons of water and granola bars. We got there and it was worse then we expected. Since the Tornado, Wednesday I think, me and my friends have been helping build/repair houses, and find people.

Just remember that there are people out there with literally nothing. You have endless options to choose from. The choice comes down to you.

showing signs of depression? Well anyways i suggest doing some sort of exercise such as running. It really gives time for yourself to have a think and that could even be a goal of yours just to get out and go for a run every so often. Starting with something simple always helps.

    What's the point?

Hi mate, I was in a similar situation to you a few years ago.

I found that the best way to get on track was to set a goal (providing myself with a sustainable income), and reminding myself that I was far better off than 3 billion others living in the world.

I want to say this in the nicest way possible, and it may come as a shock, but you need to stop giving yourself excuses to be less than extra-ordinary by saying things like "there's no hope, what's the point, it's all for nothing".

Your job is pissing you off? Fine. Pull out the newspaper and go job hunting for a job that you want, or even ask your parents if they can help you out with a qualification at a TAFE or similar education institution.

I cannot stress this enough: Stop giving yourself reasons to stay at home and do nothing. Get the f*** out there!!!!

As corny as it may seem, if you live close to a beach, a trip there is beneficial to your health due to the negative ions that are produced. Negative ions have been clinically proven to improve general health and well-being, and it may just be the pick-me-up you need.

Avoid alcohol and drugs, as these provide very high high's, and very low low's, which can result in the feelings that you are feeling now.

I've given you a few easy steps to start out with.

    Recapping:

    > Start job seeking. Think forwards to the career that YOU really WANT!
    > Stop thinking negatively. If you catch yourself doing it, try and change that negative thought into a positive thought, or a goal for the day.
    > Avoid alcohol and drugs (for now. :p )
    > Head out to the beach (England, I presume. You can't be far away from a beach there!)

If you have any questions, or you're really interested in me going more in-depth, send me a PM PLEASE! :)

    What's the point?

Find something you enjoy doing and doing it. If that means you need to get more education, do it. Anyone can do anything they want to. Anyone who puts you down only does so because they feel some form of self pain within. They need to hurt others in order to make themselves feel better, so don't take it personally. If you want to do something go for it or you will only have regrets in your life.
