Hacked account recovery

I think my computer had a keylogger or something as my account has been hacked. How can I recover my account? I think my email may have hacked too, as when I go to recover the account i have to enter an email, and it says mine is incorrect.

How can i recover an account without my email?

 

Same shit is happening to me right now. You have to send them an email and those fucks take at least 3 weeks to respond and when they do they'll ask you to make a password recovery appeal without an email. I'm trying to recover an account that was made in 2005 registered on an email address that has been deactivated (fuck Yahoo).

Anyway just pray to god you know your account information and clearly state your issue with your email address (they won't accept "zomg some douchebag changed my password).

 

post on the forums on another account on behalf of the hacked account, request it be locked and that they do an IP check and proof of ownership and provide the proof you have (not a big problem with ip match) and hopefully its sufficient. Emailing them is another route but i suggest trying both of these, posting on forums seems to be the fastest and best bet as it locks the account ASAP preventing further possible damage. Hope you get everything resolved with minimal loss

 

Both of the above work, I can confirm that they will get back to you. Post the display name on the "Hijacked account" thread on the forums, and email accounthelp. It may take two weeks or so, but they will lock the account and you can do a manual recovery (provided you have all the necessary information) to get it back.

 

Post on runescape forums or email jagex at [email protected] to ask them to remove the registered email. Gl
