I personally think incest is immoral. Unless its a VERY distant family member, through a chain of relatives then why not.

But if your literally talking like a brother or sister, cousin and so on, then its a no from me.

And isn't it proven scientifically that having a baby through incest can result in birth defects or genetic mutation? Something like that, from what i heard splashing genes, with family members who share the same genes, just doesn't go down well.

..... incest between a brother and sister is wrong for so many fucking reasons.. bio bro/sis would under normal circumstances have known eachother for their entire lives ... that in itself makes it super fucking weird. 2. Homosexuality used to be a social taboo. It isn't anymore.

3. So, you think it's disgusting for 2 people carrying genes for sickle cell anemia to marry each other? Surely their child will receive the disease, unless they adopt, much like a couple performing incest would.

The stigma against incest isn't inherently born with each of us but is taught (sugar-coated dictation) by your elders. Through centuries of colonization, species (not exclusive to humans) have developed raising techniques to raise the mortality rate of future generations. These raising techniques are compounded on generations upon generations of experience.

Incest is a preventative technique. In the Stone Age, nomadic tribes did not allow outside (foreign) blood to mate within the clan. Naturally, through hundreds upon thousands of inbreeding, eventually birth defects developed within the offspring. Somewhere within that epoch, the clans began to accept foreign blood they would come across. Through breeding this way, the clans realized this would lessen the risk of birth defects. And so, because this was the most feasible method of reproduction, the elders began to teach to their subordinates (younger clansmen) that breeding with outside blood was more feasible than incestuous breeding. This marks the beginning of the modern views on incest.

As children, it is vital that we do not question our elders about their teachings as most are in place in order to keep us safe. We don't question our parents about the immorality of incest just like we wouldn't question them about running with scissors, eating tinfoil, or licking a metal pole in winter. These teachings are meant to be meant to be believed without question in order to raise your chances of survival in life. Aside from life-vital raising teachings, your parents also impart some of their personal views raising you. Common examples include faith, racial subjection, and frugality/indulgence, prudence/hedonism.

I'm all for incest. I've fantasized about fucking my older sister for years. I fap to her regularly. She’s always been better than me at everything, and has always been the center of our parent’s attention. But despite her position, she’s always treated me well. We spent most summers together, cooped up in her room playing flash games. She’s beautiful, knowledgeable, and has a personality I find irresistible.

Naturally, I've been taught that incest is less than right. But with the process of aging comes the elimination and grading of knowledge. With the environment I've lived in, I disregarded this specific part of my parent's teachings.

Personally, I don't like the idea of Incest... It's quite disgusting in my opinion, I could never picture myself with my sister... It'd be just plain wrong.

To a certain extent I suppose I don't think it's disgusting. Parents and children or brothers and sisters I most certainly would disagree. But for example, cousins, who can legally get married or similar, then yeah, why not? But I suppose it's up to the individual, there are loads of fetishes at the end of the day, people don't agree with just because they're taboo, incest is just another one. But there's also the chance they'd reproduce and have a child with serious illnesses etc. so it's a tough call. Direct family members (mum, daughter, dad, son etc.), no. Distant family members (cousins, second uncles, etc.), why not?

Taboo is not a good excuse - homosexuality was taboo once (given you agree with it). In my opinion, theres nothing wrong with it AS LONG AS THE COUPLE DOESNT REPRODUCE.
engaging in coitus is okay, but the offspring is certainly not.
Since in most incest birth cases, the child is defected, it would be a problem for the society, it would be a burden.
Every year, Billions of $ are spent on children with medical anomalies(in some textbook of mine) incest births are usually children with some kind of anomaly,so not only would it increase the number of such people, it would also increase the resources spent/used.

There is honestly nothing wrong with it in my opinion as long as measures are taken to prevent them from bearing a child (for obvious reasons).

Let them marry and have the same rights as others.
