So today, i end.

I've been playing Runescape for over 7 years, and today i had logged on prepared to do a quest, noticing no money in the money pouch, and no bandos in the bank. I had lost 50m, it really isn't a big deal to me, but knowing their are Runescape addicts out there that take their time to hack and stuff, it annoys me. Runescape is a game, it shouldn't be a game where RWT and hacking is all that it is, too-bad it has gone to that.

Well, i'm quitting, no-biggie. I was noticing i was gaining a few pounds playing this game, so this is good news to me, anyways.

Farewell Runescape, ruining a bit of my life, fuck you. What annoys me so much is that i was doing recipe for disaster quests and this would be the first time i had gotten barrows gloves, would be really exciting, and i was enjoying doing the quest, fuck my life lol.

Now time to hop onto some Matrix and brid a few champs, huh? Haha.

 

Good idea man, if you remember rs from the glory days, join 2006scape, it's an exact duplicate of rs from may 15 2006. Over 100k unique accounts made. Pre alpha is coming out the 23rd I believe. I quit rs as well, I was tired of th bullshit updates like the following: soa,polypore,ganodermic,korai, nex armors, qbd, d claws, bonfire, and combat rework. Got tired and me and my best rs friend staked our banks and lost. My only regret is I didn't just sell It on here. Just gonna bot farm and play 2006scape and lol now, good riddance rs. Good luck and don't go back unless you want to waste even more of your life.

RuneScape has definitely degraded since free trade, there are a lot of scumbags on the game. I wouldn't blame RWTers in general, a lot of them are honest, respectable people.

2006 was the glory days because it didn't have a bunch of fucking dicks in it. 2006scape only has like 50k unique ips. It'll be good for a few days because of the nostalgia, but after a while it'll get boring just like runescape.

 

just because you lost 50m, dont let that discourage you and make you quit Runescape. Cmon, 50m is really easy to get back up to. If you really like the game and want to continue getting barrows gloves then keep playing!

OP, look on the brightside. It's a better thing to give it up completely. You'll be surprised of how much better it'll be.

 

Maybe he spends his Gp on stats? I have 6m with almost max cape that's because I've bought farming + slayer stuff.

 

I've gave up the real thing after joining during the Classic Era. I'm 21 and I still enjoy a nice private server.

 

I'm quitting after 1 week, this update will be the final thing for me, I actually quit after the armor update but started again for a few weeks and now this? Yeah - I'm gonna go play WoW if i ever play a MMORPG. :/

Runescape is a waist to be honest.... These updates are going to be so shit.

I wish they would have just kept it the same couple years ago... Those were the days.

 

They have definitely ruined runescape with all the new stuff, but you will be glad you are leaving it. Like everyone else said. You can actually get on with your life now, I've been away from the game for a few years and accomplished so much in that time.
