    So, just finished tutorial island.

Now I haven't played RS IN A LONG TIME. So, what do you recommend doing first? I was thinking of instatnly getting in ranged training but not sure. I want to try and get back into it, if it is possible. Or just make an account to sell/make gp. So, any recommendations? If anything thinking of making a pure mage/range character.

So, pretty much, any advice for starting off?

Quests are my favorite way to go after starting - they can get you some nice XP for not much effort.

Only quest a little, or else your head will fall off. Legit. OFF. As in, SWAT will be raiding that joint that's how headless you will be.
Find a skill you like. Simple as that. Slayer has always been my salvation. And then alternate progress on your pure with that skill. And good luck bud, keep that head on!

You could go through the Stronghold to make an easy 10k. I know it's not much but it's at least something to start with.

Also, I donno if you saw this pinned above, but this guide is good for starting up :)

    Good luck!

woodcutting and fletching bro. its the way to make money these days. Never used to be back in the day but it is now.

Than use the money to raise magic so you can make high level quest bosses at a low hp to quest your combat skills right off the bat so you wont even need to touch a sword tilp youre 30+ in all melee stats.

Maybe do the Waterfall quest, and start skilling? Waterfall gives you several levels off the start.

I do Waterfall quest, for the attack/strength xp, then I do Witch's house for the HP experience. Then I get 13 magic, and do Tree Gnome Village, and The Grand Tree, and Fight arena, and Vampire Slayer. Then you should be around 44 attack or so, and can wield rune items. That will save you A TON of time in the long run. The lower levels are the slowest.

Well, what do you want to do with the account? Main/Pure?

    Pure - Quest up!

Main - Combat up! ...Then quest up harder! lmao

I'm thinking of doing an obby mauler pure, can still work on ranged, magic, and stuff like that. Truly, I'm not much of a defense person, I prefer more lightweight items then heavy armor. So That's why I'm thinking, doing the in-depth guide right quick, getting my attack to 10, then doing strength and just gonna keep working on that. :D I was thinking of making an obby mauler pure, then once I got all that finished, maybe working on my defense. Cause from what I've seen, being a higher level, with amazing damage output, could mean pking and make good money. Think that would work out? Or should I go for a different pure. Cause I HAVE to have magic at least, and ranged is definitely something I enjoy.

My advice is: Don't forget to talk to people, and to try to always have a good time no matter what you're doing, being social can be fun but alot of the time you need to multi-task in order to not get bored in RS. Oh and if I had just started Runescape again, I would get to doing quests as they are quicker xp at lower lvls.

First thing to do I would say is do waterfall quest for 30 attack and strength. After that you could decide to train up ur acc or start skilling for cash. Gl mate :)
