Guess what I just got accused of?

That's right, being a legitimate player. I just happened to go on the computer to set up some music playing to find someone else setting up a bot beside mine, I warned them I'd lure their bot if they set it up there, I then got accused of being a legitimate player! I was flabbergasted! Why would I be a legitimate player? That's the biggest bit of rubbish I've ever heard! Anybody else ever had this happen to them? What has the RuneScape community came to, would you be one of those who would accuse a legitimate player of being legitimate?

Is it just me or is this a sign of a deteriorating society within the game? When did this start to happen, and what, other than the obvious botting, would you consider to be the causes of such an evolutionary reaction.

Nah I haven't, I have been claimed to be a bot however when playing legitimately, lol.

2006** I remembered, I turned off Public Chat.

People who age with the game eventually turn off public chat, while 13 year olds, the general age of the game stays the same, the immatureness is still there.

With the prevelence of 4chan in 2006+, people think being faggots = trolling, which is not true, it's just being faggots, which is a lot of these young kids. Around the same time, I would think when GE was implemented, the game went from a Skills/friendship game to an economy game, who can make most gold, anyway possible. Pixels > Friendship, along with all the luring faggots. There was no luring in 2005-6ish, (There was, but very little) People were actually talking to one another back then since there were no channels, and no ge.

LMAO! Wow, runescape has too many botters these days and idk i mean i've botted before and i know why they do but it gets really anoying sometimes...

 

I wouldn't have reported him if I was botting myself.... :/ It's better having another botter around than another legitimate player when you're botting.
