Nomad?!

Hey Guys,
I just tried to kill Nomad - but I just ran out of supplies. Every time when I got him to 1/3 health, he ran off and healed to full. Why is this?

You must have been hiding behind pillar too long - Easy mistake to make I guess.

What setup are you using? I've done that quest 2 times, and the easiest method I have tried with is using Range gear with Addy bolts (e), having a Spirit Kyatt summoned with about 300 Ambush scrolls in your invent (you won't use all, but just to be safe), some Super Restores (only 2-3) and the rest of your inventory filled with Sara Brews.

You aren't bringing a proper ratio of Brews to Restores because you are only relying on the special attack from your bolts, which has the same accuracy and hit regardless of your Range level.

Range Nomad, spam your special attack for your Spirit Kyatt, and sip brews to heal yourself when necessary.

When he gets down to melee form, make sure you protect melee (it doesn't completely negate damage, but it does slow down his attacks by a considerable amount) and stay within melee distance so he doesn't heal.

The whole time, just make sure everytime you aren't eating or hiding behind the pillar from his twins/that one powerful attack, you are attacking him and SPAMMING your kyatt attack.

nah seriously though.. if you hide behind a pillar for too long he will heal to full

Yes, he starts to smack 200s and very very fast. probably worst phase. Allso he heals a bit before he starts doing that. Id recommend you to save spec for that phase and use Kyatt specials.

 

1 shot him on my practice run 2 days ago, i did nothing except heal with brews and kyatt ambushed him dead, i took in range to start the fight butt thats the only time i used it.

Took 0 super restores, 2 prayer pots i never even used, when he splits into four, just hide behind the pillar and wait 20 seconds, his 3 images vanish and he runs to you, just never spend longer than 5 seconds behind the pillar in other phases

Turn on protect from melee (or curse) at the end, i finished with 2 brews and thats with all the mistakes i made with moving

 

get a quester to do it for you.
