I will not fix it now.

Although IE has a faulty/corrupt flash add-on installed.

It causes most pages to crash and restart, over and over.

Would a simple reinstall fix this?

NOTE: IE was infected with worms a while back, plus a redirect virus. Could any of these damaged the add-on?

It should do the trick but is the add-on installed on IE or windows itself? If all else fails, maybe try downloading another browser?

Its directly installed into IE, so i can either enable or disable it. If i disable it, flash movies etc no longer load.

Hopefully if i uninstall flash, the add-on will also be removed.

Try that and if all else fails - try downloading Google Chrome as that works amazing for me + flash works.
