So can we all agree mms are pointless for acc trades?

on this note, i also think OMMs for paypal trades are useless too

 

I love it when i see logical stuff like this, people get tricked into a mindset that if they don't lose their GP at the instant of the trade they are safe. always use a OMM

 

As an OMM, I agree. I actually tell anyone who requests to use me that I am useless for account trades. The last time I mm'ed an account trade, the user had 200+ vouches and wound up recovering the account anyway.

OMM for paypal trades is decent for $50 or less, but larger amounts yeah, OMM's not gonna be able to prevent a reversal

 

MMs scare many scammers away, so I wouldn't necessarily say they are useless. After the trade is over though, there is still a good chance it will be recovered even if you used one. Buying accounts just really isn't worth it in my opinion. I would only buy an account from someone who I legit trusted. Not just "oh look they have a lot of vouches, I should trust them" like someone who I actually trust.

This is one of the main reasons why mms SHOULDN'T be used. They add a FALSE sense of security and they will NOT deter someone from recovering.

I have had very few account trades go well. In the past I bought a few pures years ago and one I actually ended up keeping (locked because I quit rs for 2 years, forgot password, and attempted to recover). I would never invest much money at all into an account that I had not created unless I had a good relationship with the previous owner. Actually scratch that I will never buy another account haha!

Doesn't matter if you change recoveries and register an email. Original account owner can recover the account under any circumstances always. Can't believe people still don't know this, no wonder so many people get scammed

Recovering was the same in 2008. Also your join date is last month, if you had read any stickies in the account section you would be aware of recovering.

And good god you are still asking for methods on buying/securing an account? You cannot stop an account from being recovered.

 

Buying of anyone else then Video (paying an insane amount btw, but it is what it is, a secure account purchase) is basicly asking for '''fuck me hard in my ass'' cuz 99,9999% is bullshit cleaned kids

 

This. An account is always recoverable, especially if they have the original IP it was created from!

Just to try it out, i tried recovering an account i had lent out to my friend (with his knowledge of me doing this) and recovered it without filling any of the form in!

 

Account trades are a lost cause to begin with. I refuse to have anything to do with them, not even oversee them. Every account I've ever MM'd ended up recovered within 72 hours. The entire account market is a joke.

You and me both, the one time I mm'ed an account for someone with 200+ vouches, even he recovered it (produch if anyone remembers him). Never mm'ing account sales again
