Ok, firstly the snorlax render looks kind of dull and boring (Though I guess you really can't find a render better than that for a snorlax), in saying this I think you should have tried to make the background look a little more interesting. Pen tooling should be used too a limit if ever, you should only pen tool if you know how to, anything over will make the whole thing look pretty bad, like you've done with the text. You should experiment more with clipping masks and try out new things. The text is ugly and badly placed, but because the background is so even it doesn't allow you to be creative with it, again you definitely shouldn't have put the pen tooling around the text.

Sweet sig man but he's a little chubby. And the pen tool effect is slightly basic.
