Smart = Ugly or Attractive? [Poll]

Without looking this up on Google, answer the question according to your own opinion(s).

Can you explain why it is the way you said?

Edit: I'm aware that everyone has their own views on how "attractiveness" and "ugliness" are viewed. To clarify, I'm talking about physical attractiveness, or better yet, physical beauty. I meant this to have less to do with your personal liking of a smart person or a dumb one and more with whether smart people are generally beautiful or ugly.

 

Depends on the definition of smart. If it just means that their intelligent and bright then I guess that is attractive, but if they're like a smart ass that thinks that they're better than everyone than obviously that's unattractive.

 

If you're referring to the intelligence of a person (of them being smart and not of what the appearance of a smart person), then I definitely do find someone being smart attractive.

Of course the other factors also need to be considered such as their appearance, personality, etc.

 

I chose attactive , as i like to have philisophical conversation and what not , but their is a limit to where it can be annoying , when some is a pseudo intellectual

 

Well I guess smart girls can put on makeup more effectively then dumb girls.

 

I find a smart girl attractive but these days they typically go for low life no future guys. Lol odd world

 

Doesn't make her smart then, but I'll admit, it's true.

I do think smart is attractive, don't see how it would be a turn off for people I guess. Plus it would be easier explaining something to them, they'd understand you fast, and you don't really have to try hard. They'd basically 'understand' me at all times.

 

To me ugly and attractive are aesthetic differences.
However, smart definitely appeals to me because they get my jokes and understand my talks when I want to talk science with them!

 

Counter-question: How can a smart person be unattractive with regards to how you phrased the question (not considering looks? - irrelevant?). Unless you have a thing for dumb people (which is imo messed up), there's only one answer - smart.

 

I don't think if you're smart, you're ugly, that's completely inaccurate and plain illogical,
But you're going by physical assets, determined off how 'smart' some one is, which doesn't really make sense, because some one can have the highest IQ ever scored, and still be the ugliest spawn on the earth, and someone can be the dumbest bitch alive, and be the sexiest girl ever.

 

"Attractive" and "ugly" don't apply to the same spectrum. I have no idea what Sin looks like, but I find her intelligence attractive.

To answer the question, I appreciate all sorts of acuity. Logic, memory, kinesthesis, motorcycle repair, it doesn't really matter. If you consider intelligence an unattractive quality, I'd bet you have some relationship issues.
