Smart I.M people please read.

Normally I would know what to do here, but I admit I am stuck.

I am on a shit computer, Zonbu, and I can not run anything from windows and mostly can not run anything from Linux or mac either. I really want to use a different I.M then Yahoo, mainly because that fails. Meebo, and that other really popular one do not work, neither does Msn =[. Here is all the info you need to help me. please do.



I posted this in spam forum because I do not feel like going to personal assistance right now, mod please move for my lazy ass?

So please post any site where I can I.M freely. Not Yahoo or any site I mentioned above please.

This leads me to believe it's a simple fix. Please go into detail on WHY your msn doesn't work?

 

MSN does not work because it is a windows download.

I have no idea why this would not work, normally I could fix this myself but I am flabbergasted.

 

Ah, that's why. Zonbu is the OS you're running.

The simple fix is to install windows.


Need help with that?\


Other than that, theres nothing you can do. I highly doubt anyone around here is a zonbu product specialist with knowledge of getting windows applications to work on their software.


So, sorry to say, but if it is not compatible with your OS you'll have to either not run MSN, or get a new Operating system

 

I know I need a new operating system. But do you know where I can get a free one, through a download or something? That of course Zonbu can handle.

Mike (guy who sold me computer), said this is great for coding and hosting servers, which it is. but that is about all it is good for

 

A zonbu seems to just be a net book type of thing, yes?

Something to just browse the internet? In that case no I would not remove the default OS,

Anyway, I researched your product. Do google searches on the product " pidgin ".

It's the software for MSN, etc that comes on the zonbu.
