Connecting sythe to facebook

Imo this would be pretty nifty, maybe in the long run setting up a notification system to inbox you, don't really have many more ideas into this though, but if anyone could make further suggestions please do, and if anyone has advice to staff about how to make this work, please give it

 

Worst suggestion I have ever heard.. I have gone to great lengths to keeping my personal life away from my runescape and online life..

 

Exactly. Besides, I don't see how connecting it to Facebook would serve any real purpose anyway.

 

Who says it'd be compulsory? If a notification system could be set up (like have something inbox you when there was a post on your thread) then that could be EXTREMELY useful for people, I have no idea about the possibility of that but I'm guessing it's pretty slim, but it's also a way for people to spread the word about sythe, for those who want to spread the word, it'd increase the "community" aspect of sythe by inviting more friends rather than people who want to come here just to trade

 

Every Facebook account is connected to an email. Every Sythe account is connected to an email.

When you subscribe to a thread, you get an email every time a new reply is posted. When you reply to someone's status on Facebook, you get an email every time a new reply is posted.

Why can't you just use your email inbox for your "notification system?"

 

What aus aaz said. No support. No actually purpose, waste of time, and not everyone wants their friends to know about their online gaming.

 

No reason for Sythe to do this... waste of time.

 

not everyone wants their friends to know they play runescape. no real purpose would be served tbh, would be pointless to implement this imo.

 

Hah, If things go my way no one will know my name/picture/address/facebook/phone number or any thing about me. It's the internet and I would like to keep my private life and it far away from each other.

Edit: Me and I'm pretty sure a large group of other sythe users wouldn't prefer for all their friends to see that they play runescape, and even better do black market trades around it. Only like 2 of my irl friends here know I play and posting "Join a runescape cheating site now!" on my facebook would make me hide my face at school lol.



So overall no, I think this is a horrible idea.

 

Agree with bubba but also anyone who links their sythe and runescape to their facebook will most likly be banned, if found.

I like the idea ONLY because it will stop scammers just a little bit more.

 

scammers could easily make a fake facebook..

 

Definitely no support. I want sythe kept away from my personal life.

 

Even if they did it, I'm sure no one is going to connect it with their Facebook.. Just going to be a waste of effort. No support.
