Explanation of the trade: Basically long story short he originally offered the account for 200 then said he would keep it in challenger for 50 dollars more. Then he did say that he had another offer for 300 but I offered to match the 300, so I basically paid 50 more for keeping it in challenger. Today being the last day of the season and he has now blocked me on Skype and removed me from all his league accounts.

How they scammed: Didn't keep his word of keeping the account in challenger.

Do you have any proof of the conversation regarding you two discussing the payment @frankdatanks (like I see you two discussing it here, but I want to see you two discussing just prior, and during payment actually happening)? Also can you include proof of payment?
