Spam Infraction

I was just infracted for the first time today and was wondering what I did wrong. How can i prevent this. The infraction was "spamming" but i dont know if i was Can someone help?

Short messages unhelpful to the thread itself are considered spam, read the sythe rules here http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=148431
You can prevent it by only posting helpful messages with a bit of substance.
If you think the infraction was in error PM the moderator that issued it.

 

I believe it's worth mentioning - don't get too worried about infractions. 99.9% of Sythe members have one and basically, they're warnings. Getting one seems to have made you realise the rules which is their target especially. Just read the rules that Jack posted and do your best to hold back from posting unhelpful comments.
