Pokerstars locked account.

I have a locked pokerstars acount with around $1600 in it, acc was locked because I created it like 2 years ago, under 18, have tried emailing them multiple asking for them to just send the funds and close the account(I cant withdraw/send/play) but they give some BS copy paste answer or don't reply. Was wondering if anyone has any experience with this or knows a way how to get the $ out the account, thanks.

 

I doubt anyone could help with this. You were just underaged when you played, obviously they are not going to let you have your money back.

 

Phone them up, explain the situation and that you're 18 now. Surely they cannot seize your money. They'll probably want you to prove you're who you are and how old you say you are

 

Look at their T&C's to see if there's anything in there stating that they have the right to keep your money or something along those lines.

 

Thanks for the replies. Also being told my people on reddit that I won't be seeing the money again, oh well, forgot I had it in there until like 2 weeks ago anyway lol.

 

Probably hidden there somewhere. Realistically, it's robbery... You broke rules and terms and conditions, and even laws as it's 18+ to gamble so they could argue the money was obtained illegally. Worth a try giving a phone call though.. Maybe if you get someone nice; they'll try and help you.

 

Yeah will most likely call them tomorrow morning, been reading a few similar cases online and doesn't look like anything good will come out of it, worth a shot tho

 

Seems like they're in a catch 22 - they can't release the money, but they can't keep it for themselves either.

Might be one of those situations where you just have to keep on pressing for several months until they get so bored of you they cave in.
