Banned for Drop Trading GP?

Can you possibly get banned for RWT if you drop trade gp? I'm thinking about doing this because I don't want to directly trade rs3 gp as I do know the ban rate is extremely high especially when dealing with big quantities of gold (500M+)

so what do you guys think? can you get banned for drop trading gp rwt?

 

ive drop traded many large quantities of GP and never got banned

 

U can get banned for drop trading just that chances are lower

 

Drop trading itself is risky. I once saw someone attempt to drop trade a purple phat and ended up lagging out.


Back to your original question: Yes, you can still be banned, but the chances are much lower than trading.

so how would you recommend transfering gp?

 

depends on the amount at the moment when i transfer gp i get the person in the chat to say 'free gp' then trade him 10 or so random items but tbh i have never transferred over 500m so im not sure what happens in that high of amounts

 

If Jagex wants to catch you Rwting by drop trading your money, they will. They have logs on everything.

 

Many years ago I would just purposly drop trade hunt. In 2005 I ended up getting about 10m one time, which was a ton of gp then, for me at least.

Just the risk of drop trading should be enough to deter you from doing so, although I personally have never known of anyone to be banned for it.

 

I bought 1 Year ago 1100M from a gold buying site, they traded me it and i did not get banned, they will only ban you if you buy gold every week not 1 or 2 times in a year.

I never got banned for droptrading however I heard about cases where people never traded on account directly, just drop traded and been getting banned

 

when I drop traded back then, what I would do is go to an area nobody would ever go to, such as the varrock bear (in the sewers) and id make the acc who will be dropping the cash say ''drop party!!!'' quitting dropping my bank!!! I haven't been banned yet.

 

It is still possible to get banned for drop trading, but it is less ban risk than trading directly. However, you have to weigh the risk of losing the money during the trade against the risk of being banned.

 

I've never even heard of anyone getting banned for trading, let alone drop trading.

Drop trading is risky, what if you dc? I wouldn't do it, but thats just me :/

 

I have drop traded numerous of times never have dced nor gotten banned.

 

Only time I've ever been wiped was following a drop trade. I realize all methods are risky, but drop trading was the one and only time I got caught. Ended up being wiped for 6B over the two accounts.

 

It's hard to believe, but might be possible :/

 

Every form of transferring gp is bannable.
