What do I do? Should I wait until tomorrow to call my internet provider or are there any steps I can take to resolve this?

I guess this is what you wanted on MSN earlier.

Firstly, do you have any idea who's doing it?

If you happen to own a VPN or something then hop on that, they essentially can't touch you if you're on a different IP address. If you really desperate then there are some free VPNs out there to use, although they are slow - medium speed they do solve the DDoSing problem.

I would call your ISP as soon as you can, explain someone is attacking your IP address and causing connection problems for you and you essentially need a new IP address.

Someone that wanted free graphics or would ddos if not received.
I don't have access to a vpn right now, nor can I look for one as I don't have an internet connection haha.
Guess only thing I can do is wait until tomorrow and call my internet provider then.

Just call you're ISP and they can sort it out, my friend had a problem with this and they rung their ISP and now when you try DoS them it goes to a empty server or something.

If you go on Google as well and search Free VPN's many good ones come up, try using those. I had the same problem a couple of weeks back, and I contacted my ISP and had my IP changed immediately. If you're getting DDoSED through Skype, I would suggest to get a new Skype and not tell anyone, and when doing trades, have them PM you their Skypes and turn your Skype account into private mode which means no one can see you in the search directory and you can add the people you want.

Dude, you need to stop giving advice when you have no idea what you're talking about.

Using a VPN masks your actual IP. If you're on a VPN, and they are DDoSing your actual IP, the VPN won't help and you will still be hit offline. For future reference, if you are prone to DDoS attacks, then use a VPN - as your actual IP will be hidden so they wont be able to DDoS you.

If you've got a dynamic IP, change it. If not, call your ISP and explain to them the situation. Generally a charge will apply when changing static IP's.

The best bet would be to call up your ISP and let them know whats going on. Ask them for a dynamic IP Address.

    Do you mean this?

Using a VPN masks your actual IP. If you're on a VPN, and they are DDoSing your actual IP, the VPN won't help and you will still be hit offline. For future reference, if you are prone to DDoS attacks, then use a VPS - as your actual IP will be hidden so they wont be able to DDoS you.

Also a dynamic IP or an IP change won't really help Jordy as if he gets a different IP, if the ddoser is determined and has a skype resolver or a similar device he could simply just run Jordy's skype and DDoS the new IP.

No. If they don't have your IP, and you use a VPN then, you're fine. They won't be able to get your IP, as you'd be on the VPN.

IF they ALREADY have your IP, and you're on a VPN it won't stop the DDoS.

    Understand?

Call your ISP, ask them to change it. If you've got a static ip there might be a slight fee though. If you do all your trades from a VPN then your real ip is hidden :)
