Skype compromised, google attempted. But how?

So upon waking up this morning I check my phone and notice Google informing me that there was an attempted security breach but the perpetrator was denied access (fortunately). According to google security it was a dynamic IP situated in the UK.

My Skype was also breached with the person attempting to make other users go first to me (if you're reading this mr hacker, pure addiction is ever so SLIGHTLY more trusted than I, he ain't going first to me mate.)

My sythe and all other websites/games I use were not affected (thank you google denying access to my 2fa on sythe) I did a full virus scan and came up clean, my google name has never been seen on sythe and both passwords are different (though admittedly probably have crossed over passwords in the past).


How was my accounts breached and how do I prevent that from reoccurrin?

 

You could start by changing your passwords on a regular basis. This is always a good preventative measurement to take.
