    1. God is, by definition, a being greater than anything that can be imagined.
    2. Existence both in reality and in imagination is greater than existence solely in one's imagination.
    3. Therefore, God must exist in reality: if He did not, He would not be a being greater than anything that can be imagined.

    God exists. Spread the truth!

This is but a side argument. In my dreams God has spoken with me and shown me such glories that you would not believe, I am crying as I type this.

I like the enthusiasm but I seriously doubt your going to be able to back any of this stuff up when people start responding. Especially Shredderbeam! He is a very worthy adversary lol and I respect that. Anyways like I was saying 3 points will never do in a forum like this.

that does not prove existence of god, and ones imagination, meaning "fake", if there was enough proof to support the existence of this god then i would believe. but their isnt is their?

It is a logical proof of God. There are no holes.

its not logic, its based on unsufficient evidence and stupidity.

The only holes in your logic are that 1.God is by definition the surpreme creator of the universe. 2. You don't have proof that God exists in reality as well as imagination. 3. Without the proof that God exists in reality as well then there is no way He can be the surpreme creator of the universe. The main problem is that God does reside almost solely in our imagination as He has chosen to stop physical interactions with humanity until they die. Don't get me wrong I am a devout Christian and I do believe in God but in order to cut it here you really need to get facts out there.

You need to look up the ontological proof of God. Because you are unable to disprove it, doesn't make it stupid.

Justafan, God must exists in reality because if he doesn't, there is a logical contradiction.

If he doesn't, there is a logical contradiction.

If he does, there is a logical (and imaginable) contradiction.

Either way, this God that you speak of, assuming he exists, must be very, very, malevolent.

    Why is he malevolent?

There would be no logical contradiction if there was no god and the universe was never created, it simply existed without a start. Remember though I do believe in God I simply have not found a reasonable way of explaining Him to people here. In order for one to sway the popular opinion you need to make perfect sense. Attempting to use larger words in order to make yourself sound like you know what you are talking about will only get you shot down time after time again. You have no other basis for your testimony and therefore there is nothing else to talk about. You are simply going to continuously refer to the same three points that don't even make sense. Good luck trying to convince people with your own contradictory statements.

I do not speak of creation.

My language is not made too complex on purpose, my manners are not that way.

Where are contradictions in my proof?

I have already explained the contradictions in one of my earlier posts. If you aren't trying to sound complex then you should at least try to make it easier for some people who don't understand it otherwise your ministry won't take you anywhere because only some people will understand you.

lil_melo15 - I wouldn't say that because as I'm sure you know God may decide to answer your request with a no and not tell you face to face that He said no. You also cannot rely on God as your back up despite what Carrie Underwood says.

Justafan, I suggest that you research this argument before trying to find contradictions.

    Success, he will never interfere.

Would you be kind enough to send a little reference to where you got your definition of God then? I got mine from Websters Dictionary. To noones surprise it only mentioned that He was the surpreme creator and ruler of the universe. It never said that He was "a being greater than anything that can be imagined"
