Is there any way to download a small version of wow since the one which comes with the disc is huge.

 

There is, it's called the trial. Go on worldofwarcrft.com and try to download just the trial.

It's a small download, but over time it downloads itself as you go into different zones.

 

Download the client off the website, I dont think you can play a regular account on the trail download.

 

You can, I play it on my shitty little netbook.

 

You should remember that you will eventually end up with the full download though and your ping may suffer a little in the mean time.
