Since Trump was elected:

I stake for hours on end and watch random shit on youtube. It pretty much just lists all the reasons why California is failing. Crazy regulations, toxic lawsuit envoirment, highest taxes in the country, unions/city employee's wages and pensions (City council members make more than state senators...) California regularly hike up their taxes on this rich. Whenever the state starts to default from the gross over spending they go after the rich. 30 years ago California was listed as the richest state in the country. Today they're the poorest and receive 1/3 of our total welfare even though they have 1/8th the population. In the last 10 years people have been fleeing California. Weirdly enough it's pratically all WHITE middle income families running for the hills... They also show California's legal grading of it's judges and jury outcomes. They legit rank dead last in almost every major category. Thousands of companies are fleeing California as well. (Toyota, Nestle and, Waste Management to name a few) California is currently 185 billion dollars in debt. They wont stop spending and except the federal government to bail them out. Even though they refuse to follow federal law. It's not just California though. Look around at every major city in the country. The vast majority are controlled by democrats. Big Government doesnt work. They want everyone to live off of the state. I honestly believe they still think FDR's New Deal can still work...

 

Thanks for the TL;DR, do you have any non-video sources for that? The only one I was able to check was California's poverty level, and they're apparently the 9th richest state in the U.S.

 

They're currently the poorest state if you take in all the contributing factors. Make sure your not looking at the same polls that said Hillary was going to win by 90%.

Thanks for the links, I wasn't aware of that. I guess it just goes to show that social programs are better at the national, rather than state, level.

 

If you believe anything the state of California tells you, you deserve to live in poverty.

I don't think he's perfect, but I support Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton, and I think the U.S.A. needed someone like him, I can't see him winning a second term, although I hope he does. (Canadian here).

 

I agree with you. I don't think there was any "right" option this past term but I do strongly believe he was a better choice than Clinton, hence why I voted for him. I do support the things he's done thus far but it can be rather embarrassing with what he says and does on twitter.
