Dating tips 101

Random little guide for my fellow nerds/ sythe members.
Just thought I'd share tips (mainly for men, considering I'm a man...) on how to make it official with that special someone or just someone you want to have consensual sex with. This is for people who are already "talking to someone" via text or app and you really are interested in them...

Tip #1: Don't be afraid to be an open book.
What I mean by this is you shouldn't have to be embarrassed about making stupid decisions in life and laughing about it while you explain how stupid it really was. No, I'm not saying tell them that time you beat up a kid for how he looked, or got off to some stupid porn video, or even that time you got so fucked up you don't remember how you got home. No, just a simple "Oh this scar? Yeah this one time I fell off a ....." kind of explanation. Remember you want to be open, but they're not your doctor! LOL

Tip #2: Recognize the person you're dating for their actions, not words.
Sometimes I feel like people misunderstand a person for what they have to say, when their actions make all the difference. If someone is in a bad mood, it's pretty obvious to tell right away, and if you can't you're obviously oblivious and I can't help you. Don't keep asking "Are you okay? What's wrong?" because all you're going to do is create annoyance for that person and vice versa. Simply go to the local pharmacy, get nice refreshment, maybe flowers/candy/pizza, a CD of their favorite band/singer or even a movie bring it to them. The rest should fall into place and you might get some dope sex afterwards.

Tip #3: When to ask if you're official?
This is always a hard one for people (even myself). For some reason, asking "are we official? exclusive? Together?" always seems a little uncomfortable to ask someone via text or even in person. DO NOT ASK THEM ON A DATING APP LMAO!!!! So how do you really know? Usually if you really want to date that One person, stop texting other people you may have dated or had sex with. What this does, is isolate your interests to one specific person. Whether or not they are continuing or not is irrelevant. Until it is certain ya'll are exclusive you can never be too sure. You'll know for sure when you take them out or go out on your 2 - 3 months of "dating" and then you can maybe approach to the question of "hey, would it be cool if I made you my girl friend?" Usually the guy has to initiate this, but to be "politically correct" both sides are capable. If you're gay/bisexual/ or whatever, Idk how that works, cause I'm straight LOL.

Anyways, hopefully this wasn't too long to read. Just a random tip/guide for all my fellow nerds seeking some companion in life.

Umm I would add the classic ones:

- Always be yourself (Only if you are not a creepo, if that's the case don't be a creepo)
- Be confident, my friend.

 

It seems sort of redundant all these tips but helpful either way, I suppose if you are a sewer slug like @Dave B maybe you need something like this XD

You should not have any problem of being self-confident if you remember who you are and what are your advantages (wether its physical or not), UNLESS YOURE SOME FAT ASS NERD then you should probably forget about it/change your lifestyle :3
