    Simple Homework Help

Mind showing some of your previous intro/conclusions so I can see what we can improve on?

    Simple Homework Help

This is most likely your problem.

Considering your contents is strong this shouldn't be too difficult to fix. You know when you're busy figuring out your speech, what you're trying to say? Jot down these main points - depending on the length you should probably have three to five well defined points.

Often people tend to over-think their introductions so what you need to do is follow a simple formula:

    1. Google some techniques for opening statements (keep it to one line), this is pretty generic for the most part.
    2. State the topic and your position, giving your three well defined points
    3. Your conclusion will likely vary on the type of speech, but you just need something here that will bridge to your first point.

    Hopefully this helps, good luck.
