Simple Guide on Soccer Positions/Rules

Guide on soccer positions and rules.

Firstly, there is 4 positions in soccer.
Goalie:Only one player plays this position.

The goalies is there to block balls from entering the goal.
The goalie is the ONLY teammate allowed to pickup the ball.

Defence: Defence is the whole team, they guard the goal and the goalie.
If they are terrible, chances are you're team is going to lose.

MidField: Kind of like a mixture of defence and offence, can play both positions if need be.

Striker: Go for the goal. They try to get the ball into the other teams goal, past the defence and goalie.

Now that you got that, let's explain some of the rules.

Soccer is a non contact sport meaning no hitting, or anything along those lines.
No one except for the goalie is allowed to touch the ball with their hands or it is considered a hand ball.
If the ball goes out, the other team has to throw it in over their heads.

Thanks and I hope you enjoyed my guide on soccer.

Simple Guide on Soccer Positions/Rules

Guides too short, you havn't mentioned all the other aspects to this game, such as, penalties, free kicks, corners, offside, yellow cards, red cards, how many points you earn from a win and draw, managers roles, extra times, golden goals, penetly shoot outs, half times, full times the time limits involved, extra time, at the start coin flipped to chose side, how to earn a free kick, penelty red card, yellow card. You see there, is so much more you can write about, you should add more really for me, and use the option as well.

Simple Guide on Soccer Positions/Rules

The whole concept of the game over soccer can not be expressed in this few of words. The suggestion I can offer you is to split this guide into a series of guides because you could write a mini-novel on the game of soccer.

In addition, a lot of the statements you make are not factual and are widely debatable (i.e. the non-contact sport part). Also, some of the grammar is not correct (i.e. defence is actually defense).

It's a good start to a guide, elaboration is the key.
