okay so i haven't played scape in years, let alone botted it but im looking to do a project [will most likely make a development log on progress]

but it seems that my kminer/nexus in general no longer work, and rsbuddy has gone due to the owners going their seperate ways

also, can anybody link me to a tut on scripting bots? i'm tempted to start pumping out my own bots [strictly experimental of course]

any pointers appreciated!

So are you looking to make a script for a bot or a bot client itself?

If you're looking to write scripts check out simba, they have a bunch to tuts.
If you're looking to write your own client, let me know what you find. I've been looking for info my self, but haven't been able to find anything post-nuke related.

You probably don't have the knowledge to make your own bot but you could make scripts to run in the public bots (simba/rarebot/etc.). The "bot nuke" was an update jagex made to remove reflection bots from the game and halt injection bots for awhile (rarebot and possibly rsbot are both injection bots).

 

i'll have to learn java if i want a shot at it, but i would most likely just write scripts, no plan on making a client aha. so any running bot clients/scripts atm? Simba isn't running for me even after updating everything etc.

 

Well then you're doing something wrong somewhere, but Simba and RiD are the only ones I would trust. EpicBot's installer supposedly has a virus and Rarebot is just incredibly fishy. RiD you have to pay for and you can't make your own personal script, Simba is free and you can script but takes some competency.

 

Definitely check out Simba, it is color based so it probably won't get nuked as soon/often as the other injection/reflection bots.

 

I believe there is a lot more too it than you are comprehending, it's no easy task.

Good luck regardless though, if you start, stick to it. Definitely a handy skill to have.

Take a look at EpicBot, i got 60-82 def in 4 days f2p.

 

Simba is nice to start out with. I started scripting for Simba 2-3 months ago and I will probably start with Java in my Summer holiday. Simba is written in Pascal which is easier to script with.
