Simple Battery Question.

So I got m iPod Touch 4th Gen today.. And I already jailbroke it,
Yadah yah, I downloaded his theme, and it has an animated background..
My question, does the batter run faster with it?

 

When you are on the springboard and the animated background is in affect, yes it would drain your battery a little more than usual, I don't think it'd be a considerable amount though.

Using a theme with a jailbroken ipod/iphone really shouldn't show any noticeable battery life problems. With that said if you have many themes downloaded onto your ipod/iphone it has been said to easily lag at times, or possibly even crash. The best thing to do would just test out your theme yourself and see if you have a noticeable change in battery life, and if it's bad then just stop using the theme. Hope this helps.

 

Themes (if they're animated) and other settings (like lighting time, f.e.) do drain your battery but it shouldn't be a noticeable amount, like FishFishy said.
