Simba vs Home Made Script

Hello. What would be more reliable, a built in Simba bot, or a home made script? I'm saying this because I'm interested in learning how to script yet I have next to no experience. Thanks

 

It all depends on who the scripter is. I don't think Simba has built in scripts does it?

 

Simba has basic scripts built in e.g. woodcutter, miner etc. And the scripter I don't know who

Thanks I was thinking about that guide, but I don't have all the different things it requires.

 

That guide seems like just teaching you to build your own auto clicker make some with move than one movement.

Simba scripts easier to learn, because you have one compiler and thats all you need. Its has a medium level computer vision capability which makes it really good and can find most stuff you want.

If you want to make your own home made scripts, its much less hassel and safer than public script (although its already pretty safe). Because you are the only one using it, so you don't have to worry about supporting multiplpayers, but before you began to do so, you need to understand how to make a safer script.

By that I mean just no straight move mouse and click, you need to learn about antibans aswell... etc and thats the same with making ANY bot, if you don't have antibans and you are using looping procedures, your chance of getting banned rises substantially.

 

Believe me when I say it pays to spend a little time and get familiar with Simba. It has the ability to do anything you can think of, and it can be used to accomplish very complex scripts in Runescape. Never, never underestimate color. By the way, Simba doesn't come with scripts... You download scripts from Villavu or create your own.







Most people will be driven away when first using Simba because it's more complex then the idiot-proof Java bots, but for those of you who are motivated to spend just even a little bit of time will have huge potential that very few people can have. Take my advice, learn to script with color in Simba, it's not going anywhere any time soon.

If you have no prior programming knowledge it would be very hard to make your own script. I'm assuming you are talking about something that is much more advanced then a simple auto clicker.

its not bad, there are plenty of tutorials.
Its much easier than most classes you will ever find in college/university or even highschool.

 

Is it really? I'm quite sure I posted the same picture in the Script Request Compilation thread. I dunno, maybe I forgot. I have a few more features to add to it before I throw it out publicly.

No necessarily, I kid you not we've had a handful of people join our forums from the day of the "Bot Nuke" to this current day, and in that amount of time or less they've learned to make their own scripts and gained official 'Member' status. You're probably right about them having worked with, atleast, a little bit of programming previously, but many of them claim not to have.

The rumors of scripting for Simba being difficult is a bit exaggerated if you ask me. It's just something you have to see for yourself.

Take your pick, we have plenty of them.

 

Simba has plenty of free great working scripts, read the threads and look up info about author to see if they are good or not.
