Should one man have so much power?

Well, I know things have to get passed through parliament ect, but the prime minister , of any country, has far to much power over everyones lives in my opinion. There has to be a fairer system in one way or another.
    Opinions?

Should one man have so much power?

In times of crisis, if the power is split, the nation is crippled. There is a time for bills, signings, and talks, and there is a time for action. One man can provide that decisive power, whereas a Parliament cannot.

I suppose.. Perhaps if there were perhaps a main president and maybe 2 vice presidents. That way, rushed decisions would not be passed by one man, (COUGH BUSH) and things might be thought out.

Trust me Bush did not rush that decision regardless what anyone says he thought that through very well. (In fact for him it was a great choice to this day.) And next the president has close to no powers anyway. The president is a speaker and a puppet...

In case you didn't know, Bush DID go to congress and get approval for funds. If congress denied the funds, we would not have gone into Iraq. (Or at least not at that time)

What the hell does that have to do anything with the topic? Bush runs in a 2 party democratic system.
