Strange new tutorial glitch on old account?

Today I was getting an account made in mid-2007 that has never been played on to my greatest understanding through the new tutorial. I had some strange glitches.
1) When I first typed in my password and hit enter it brought be to a black screen, it stayed dark for about 5 seconds, which is very unusal since it always loads immediately.

2) At the part where you choose whether you cut down the tree roots or mine through the rubble to escape, I chose to cut the roots. It told me to go cut them down. Normally when you do this you have to cut down some tree roots to gain your woodcutting to level 2, then you can escape. But I didn't have too for some reason, I just passed right through the roots.

3) After I escaped to freedom the dialouges were glitched on Sir Vant's 'Click here to continue' button, it was almost as if it said 2 things in 1 spot. Then Roddeck's speach was skipping parts and wasn't making sense.

4) Finally when they gave me the xp reward to my woodcutting skill, all my stats, even the ones that were 1 and would have been 1 after the tutorial were raised. Here's a pic:

After gaining the reward. I left. Anyone know what the hell happened?

I'm trying to see if you meant that. Well, I have no idea what happened, but it could be some sort of glitch that tampers with all the skills and applies to them all. Close to the idea of duplication like the PHat scandal. I don't know how that could possibly happen though.

 

No Idea if this would be considered a glitch. but i never heard of going right through the roots without gaining exp thats pretty sick .

 

Your account probably already had those stats. Back in '07 when the account was created you would have trained up ur fm/fishing etc on old tut island.

Ehh...just be happy you got some free easy leveling done and the rest of us have to work our ass off for that.../sarcasm

In the old tut island, you prob gained those lvls doing the various tasks required. You most likely never finished the island, so now you have those random stats on the new one?

You went right thru the roots because you had already reached the XP cap needed in the old tut.

 

When your on the old island do you go to the new one if you haven't played in a long time on that new acct?

 

Hm, that's wierd today when I tried logging in a black flickering screen appeared for me to saying "Are you sure you want to change your username with a countdown" and there was a yes and no on it and I clicked no and it wen back to normal. No I haven't changed my username on my account and it was doing it before I even log in.

I think I got this figured out.. anyone remember that gay tutorial, after the original, but before the one now. (around July 2008 )? How you were in a closed off section of Lumby. Maybe this character was in this tutorial, then when they closed it they had nowhere to put my character so they just put it in the new one.. Anyway heres a picture of what it looked like incase you were wondering.
