So in short my pc just randomly started today turning on and off. When I power it on, it turns on for about 3 seconds and as its turning off it makes a little beep, then turns off, and then automatically turns on again then off in 3 seconds being an infinite loop. I'm not sure if its my power supply or what. I've read some things online it being ethier the power supply or possibly the motherboard. I know the power supply has enough power as its 600W my pc uses around 300W. Wanted to see if anybody could help me before taking it into a shop.

If you can help me i'll toss $5-$10 your way, thanks

It could be something as simple as clearing your CMOS or reseating your RAM. Take out one stick, try powering on. if it doesn't work put that one back in where it was and try again but remove the other stick this time (assuming you have multiple sticks. If not, just reseat the first stick or try putting it in a different dimm.) Used to be a tech guy at a school, you'd be surprised how often that's the cause.

I had a similar issue with my comp. I couldn't even tell you what was exactly wrong with it but I'd do this:

    1. Reseat your RAM (take it in and out or change their locations, or even take one out to see if any of them died)

    2. Clear your CMOS (Look for a guide on this for your motherboard but it's usually just taking the button cell out of your motherboard for a min)

    3. Unplug and replug in major components such as your graphics card from the powersupply and even reseat them.

Also are there any numbers on your board to indicate a post code when it boots up?
