Should I appeal 10 day ban?

well, should I? I got banned 10 days for macroing, should I appeal or just wait the 10 days. I heard someone appealed a 10 day ban and they got perm banned after that. :S

I've spammed my ass off in loads of appeals, loads have got accepted and nothing changed on my account.

 

Don't appeal it. I just got a 10-day ban for macroing too. 5 more days to go, just wait it out.

Plus if you win they will probably take it off so 0 black marks is better than .5 ;o

But nah you should probably just wait it out. One of my F2P accounts just got a .5 ban which was surprising cause 3 already got perm bans lol.

I've never known, seen, or heard of anybody (I could verify) getting permanently banned for appealing a temporary ban. That's out of many such instances in our family, friends, and our Runescape group. I did see one person get permanently banned for offenses that occured just after the offense that led to the temporary ban (during the wait time before the offense and Jagex looking at the offense), and the perm ban happened while he was appealing the temporary, but the ban was clearly stated to be for the later offenses, the last of which was RWT.

You an appeal it, but most 10 day ban appeals are denied. There's nothing to lose, though.

EDIT: I've heard of permanent mutes for people who appealed a temporary mute, so if that's what you got, you might want to wait it out.

 

Ive never heard of a perm ban for a 10 day one, id say go for it.

Can you apologize for it? If so, do that, it helps to appeal a Last-Chance Appeal.

There is no reason to not appeal an offense, unless you're going for some sort of personal goal of no appealed offenses without a perm.

If you appeal it there's a good chance they'll lock the acc...at least that's what they've been doing to me lately...
