Dog help

I'm watching my friend's dog for him while he's on a week vacation. The dog is a boxer terrier mix (2 years old). The problem I'm having with it is the walking. I have to walk the dog, but after it goes outside, it poops, then wants to go back inside. I never had this problem with other dogs I have/had. I can't reach my friend for whatever reason and I'm honestly curious as to why. This happened twice already.

 

I did the same thing and ended up regretting it.

Have you tried making walking more exciting? Like playing fetch or frisbee, going for a swim in a lake or something? Might just feel unsafe without it's owner.

 

What?

The dog knows me. It's playful with me inside, but outside it's a different story. It's probably as you say.

 

That is not going to solve anything..

 

Buy two treadmills, brown water paint, and say I Am Legend
