Short review on the Logitech G710+ Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

I've owned this keyboard for a little over 24 hours now and here's what I can say so far.

Pros

- Appears to be very durable
- Macro keys
- Media controls
- Wrist pad is solid
- Looks amazing

Cons

- Keys feel very mushy
- Incredibly annoying "boink" sound stemming from the springs in the keys

I purchased it for $25 off (124.99 CAD) but overall I say I wouldn't recommend this keyboard, in my opinion the cons outweigh the pros.

Try taking the key-caps off, then removing the o-rings around the switch. This might help fix the "mushy feeling" you're describing. This keyboard has brown switches which do have a bit of resistance to them, try using a bit more to see if you can get used to it. If not, you might want to look into red switches next time you are in the market for a keyboard.

A roommate of mine has the blue version of this keyboard (g710) with cherry blue mx switches and it seems to be pretty nice. Seems like all of the gripes you have with it are with the switches and not the actual keyboard itself.

I agree actually, I purchased the corsair k70 now with cherry mx reds and am enjoying it much more
