Shooting I would have to say Modern Warfare 2, it was the first real FPS I ever played and have always enjoyed playing it.

 

Both, I enjoy a first person shooter more but after a while the plot line evaporates into thin air and it becomes meaningless. Where as Runescape's plot line is ever expanding, and somehow always manages to keep my mind preoccupied.

Modern Warfare 2. Has to be, as I fell in love with that game, no-lifing it on my mates xbox for ages.

 

RPG hands down.

 

MW2 for fps and rpg ill have to go with Vampire Masquerade: bloodlines. I wish i could get gothic 2 working on windows 7. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't its weird.

 

i've played somthing like 800 hours of CS:S and played it since i was like 10 years old, so its my favourite fps of all time. But at the moment my favourite is probably borderlands 2.

 

Most RPG games bore me after a while, and I hate sitting through the conversations they have, so shooters. Especially Modern Warfare 2 or battlefield 3.

 

The Battlefield series. <3 FPS is the way to go.

 

I like MW2 For shooters, and Runescape/Pokemon for RPG

 

RPG and it's Wild Arms hands down. The only games I like of the series is Wild Arms and Wild Arms 3.

 

I like them both just about equally and it all depends on my mood. I probably like RPGs a little bit more though, just because I prefer games that have a lot of gameplay. Shooters don't have much replay value to me if I don't have Xbox Live. I rarely touch a game after I beat the campaign once or twice. Most games I end up selling once I'm done with them. If I do have live, then I pretty much only play Battlefield 3. Gears of War 3 and Crysis 2 occasionally. If not, then it's either Skyrim, Fallout 3 or GTA 4.

 

My favorite shooting game is Halo 3.

 

CS:S is by far my favorite game.

Hmm. For the RPG game it would have to be SW: KOTOR II. I fell in love with that game on the original xbox. As for the FPS game, I see a lot of comments saying MW2. I love MW2, but I would have to lean towards something like BF:BC2 or good ol' Duke Nukem 3D. As for which of the two game genres I prefer, I would have to agree with most of the commenters in saying that it obviously depends on what mood I'm in. I generally lean towards my FIFA disk these days...
