Infracted for backseat moderating

Hello staff member or whoever reads and helps me resolve this issue.

Yesterday I received an infraction from giddy for backseat moderating.I posted on a thread that is in the wrong section to inform the poster of their mistake and to prevent it from happening again.I believe this infraction to have been unfairly administered for the following reasons.There is a post directly below mine stating almost exactly the same thing as mine and no infraction has been given for that user and also,I see posts on this forum identical to mine every day and yet there are no infractions given in punishment for a large majority of those posts either.My opinion on this is that infractions for such posts should be more consistent or my infraction should be lifted.
