What do you think about "2006scape"

please tell me what you think about this server, some people in the forum have been saying that it is all a scam and that they just did it for the donations etc, that they just keep delaying the pre -alpha date to make money, so what are you thoughts about this?

and please lock if asking this is against the rules of the section

 

Well first off, thank you for your interest in our server. But to combat any speculations that we are only in this for donations: If we were only in it for the donations, we wouldn't still be looking and paying developers for their contributions. Yes, Pre-Alpha has been delayed a few more weeks, but it IS being released this month (barring any major set backs). You can keep track of our countdown timer on www.2006scape.com if you'd like and I hope you come and play it when we fully launch! Thank you for your patience and participation!

 

2006scape won't happen. There is a vid on youtube of somebody notifying jagex about it. They say they are fully aware and will not let it happen rofl.

It's pretty obvious really. All other massive rsps have been shut down my jagex.

 

This is incorrect, JaGeX has been aware of this for a few weeks now and nothing has happened. We've hired an attorney that specializes in game fraudulence and copyright infringement so we're prepared for any attacks, as we've consulted him about our project on all aspects.
