    Setup

I did make a thread a while ago asking for the best PC to buy, since then my hours at work have been cut and my budget is almost half. If anyone could tell me the best pre-built I could get for £450 or 700$ from either www.novatech.co.uk or powerc.com that'd be great. Thanks!

    Also I don't need a monitor as I have a 32" 1980 x 1024 LED Toshiba.

Does it have to be prebuilt? Im sure you have heard it before but if you build it yourself you will get a lot more performance for your money.

Im just scared that I will do it wrong and also the amount of time it'll take my to build I thought it would be better to get a pre built.

The main things im looking for are 16GB RAM and Maybe i5 Processor

If you could help me that'd be great :)

You will not be able to take advantage of the full 16GB with a i5. I'd go with 8GB that's more then enough unless you plan on doing some very serious editing. I'll take a look at those sites you mentioned and see what they have if your 100% against building your own.

Edit: Took a look at those two websites and it seems your budget is not high enough to get a i5 pre-built thing your going to need to build it yourself if you wan't a decent i5 build.

Thanks I wanted the bigger RAM as I "heard" (well read) that for botting continuously a good RAM is needed.

Back when I botted I could run 9-10 accounts and that would max my six core before it maxed my ram so you'll be all set with 8 gigs.

I can but the parts will be from newegg as I'm not familiar with any uk sites. What will you be using the pc for? Just botting and playing runescape? Any gaming outside of runescape if so what games?

Just RuneScape so I don't want it to be all singing all dancing. Also www.novatech.co.uk is England's version of Newegg.

If you are just playing/botting runescape, take mmas build, but downgrade the gpu to a 6670 or such, no need for a 560 for just runeacape. Honestly you could even go without a edicated graphics card. If you go without you could probably move up to a 3770k and 16 gigs of ram if you wanted

    Setup

    Don't get a pre-built.

I built my first ever desktop today and I started from a Novatech barebones package and I would suggest you do that aswell. It was really easy to put together as I didn't need to play around with the motherboard or any major wiring really.

It took me like 30 minutes and I was being cautious as hell. Was to my suprise really easy to do. It was more of a challenge to put together the chair and desk I bought.
