Setting up your bots and watching you bots on your iPod!

Just like on a computer you can acces you server via VNCviewer from the app store, or installous if your iPod is jailbroken! You can run any o the major bot clients without lag as long as you have wifi. Instead of waiting til you get home to set your bot back up from an update go to a starbucks or panera bread and use thier wifi! Using vnc on your iPod is a lot more convenient! You can now just baby sit it too, watch tv or a movie with your iPod in your hand and check every few minutes without getting up. Just thought I would share this with you guys If you didn't already know!

 

Don't see the point in this thread, yes using a VNC client will help you check on your bot more.

 

It's just letting people know that they can acces thier bot on thier iPod >.>

 

I check my bots during lunch at school, on my Droid.

 

With like a vnc app? I will be able to in a few weeks

Teamviewer is better imo

 

Teamviewer works too, set up a unique password and remember your computer ID, I always update my bots when I'm in class, usually check them every 2-3 hours

 

1. Buy a VPS
2. Use ipod touch to check on it
3. Bot 24/7 and save $ on electricity by keeping your computer off.

You can bot from an iPod or from your iPhone?

 

Well, sorta not really, you can acces another computer, your own or a vps, and set up a bot from your iPhone/iPad/iPod! You can't actually run rsbuddy on these ecause it would be wicked laggy and it would take up too much space and I don't think it is possible to get rsbuddy/nexus/powerbot on an ipod
