Reason:
These members of the CDT collectively scammed a total of $75 for an event that was meant to be posted on March 1st

How they scammed:
I'm only going to be posting relevant information here, but originally there was a discussion for us to sponsor the valentine's event. We refused because we wanted our own events. We originally wanted events every month BUT the CDT became too greedy and wanted it every 2 weeks (no wonder they struggle with getting funding) we then agreed. The event was meant to come out March 1st but they did not deliver on their deadline. I am asking for EACH of the above members to receive a DNT as they were all working on it but failed to deliver on their promises.

The event was meant to be a bi-weekly event and launched on March 1st. If you didn't have everything ready for March 1st, that's not my problem. That's to blame on both you and your team's co-ordination.

Correction, nobody in the 'CDT' thought it would be a good idea. Bear in mind that you guys always claim you have "lack of funding" but that's because your team doesn't accept funding unless it's over a certain amount.

If it was ready for Feb 25th then why did it have to be removed, looks like you're trying to find a way to loophole the system. Is this the next Bus369 I'm speaking to?

Oh yeah and just to add, multiple people have also been questioning where the event is and when it's coming and we don't have an answer, maybe you should be explaining it to the people who want to participate

Bolt, one of the people you put in charge didn't even bother replying despite him having numerous opportunities to answer before I posted this report.

 

I'd like for you to deliver on all of your teams promises which is and is not subject to:

-Posting the event in the community general
-Posting the event on the Sythe Instagram
-@'s in all the discord which was promised as well

Since I was mentioned in the title of this post, I believe I have a right to defend not only myself, but my other CDT members of being scammers, no?

You requested that we do a month long event with a total budget of $75 USD.

We told you upfront it was very low.

So now we look at the discussions we've had with you, I opted to let bolt take the lead on it because he was excited about hosting an event and I've done plenty over the 2+ years I've been on cdt.


So now we look at your event which was $75 for a month that wasn't a tournament, it was a flash game, with one button. Yes we knew that this event was not going to be very successful. So that's why we opted to change it to Bi-weekly. We've been doing this for years at this point, I would hope that we know what works with the community and what doesn't.

Looking at what we specifically agreed upon, yes we agreed upon March 1st, and if you would like the money back then we'll happily provide it back. It's $75 not breaking the bank there.

Also why are you tagging me in this when these were my only posts in the discussions?

also my name is mumble not Mumble. so I'm requesting that it be removed from OP or at least adjusted to the proper name.

Also why are you getting pissed at us? We're not charging you a fee or anything to do this. This is 100% free. We gain no monetary benefit from you sponsoring this event.

TL;DR: Bolt is still learning about CDT, you gave us pennies to do a job that required at least a dollar, we haven't spent your money on weed, you can have it back if you want.

Firstly, BlackBlasses allowed you and Bolt to take the lead

This is really what happened.

You guys originally said a minimum of $75 per month but then changed it last minute



Don't try and say you told me upfront because that wasn't the case

And yes you were involved



You were involved to talk on behalf of CDT, obviously you also are a CDT leader and thus you hold a certain level of responsibility. If you're not capable of upholding your CDT leadership then you should resign.

I've already explained why I'm getting annoyed. We've advertised that this event was going to be happening only for it to get delayed. People have been asking us where it is, if you knew it was going to be delayed you could have said but unfortunately the only response I got was well... nothing.

And I don't think you can claim something isn't going to work if it hasn't been done. If you're not willing to do something, how can you call a negative outcome before it's even happened. I never said $75 was breaking the bank, in fact that's far from it. I'm frustrated because of the fact people are waiting for the event and it's not been officially launched. You're disappointing the community without even realising it.

Oh yeah and just for the record, if you requested a fee I probably would have paid it anyway, so that's not a reason at all.

Lastly, the stake.com events were not hosted by you, so you cannot use that as an example. If I were to get a mod to host my events I would probably get a reasonable amount of activity as well. But I'm not reporting a moderator here because there's no reason to as this is to do with the CDT.

Sorry regarding the late reply, I've been extremely busy dealing with IRL stuff and weekends are the busiest times for me. I only just got on now to middleman a trade for someone.

I'm just waiting for the posts regarding the instagram and also the 3 @'s that were promised in 3 of the discords. Once that is done you can wrap up this report.

Hello, I suggest if you don't like to be viciously attacked in the spam forum, you should leave the Sythe discord or maybe go to a more serious channel perhaps. The spam forum is designed for people like you to be flamed, not for everyone to be nice to each other. Also let it be known that the only reason you joined CDT was to funrank hold.

I would appreciate that you don't quote a sentence that was mentionned in the Sythe discord which yourself just admitted is considered Spam Forum. Furthermore,you cropped out everything and named me just to add weight in your arguments which is completely wrong sir.

 

Hello I am allowed to quote posts from the Spam forum/Sythe Discord, there is no rule against it. What do you mean to add weight to my argument. There was no argument to even be made lol? I suggest you look up the difference between an argument and a statement. I am allowed to quote a post, and bear in mind your screenshot still does not show any context to the situation, so whatever you're trying to prove here isn't working.

I look forward to any CDT members giving me updates on the situation with valid screenshots from the Sythe instagram and valid screenshots showing you have @'d people in the 3 discords that were promised.
