[Serious Question] Why do you (if you do) smoke Pot?

I would like to know, as title says why you smoke pot.

I smoke pot when im very depressed or right before i have sex.
My friends dad does it to releive stress.
Why do you do it?


Well, seeing as this is instantly so very popular, i would like to ask another question.
When did you Start?
I started Smoking Marijuana when i was 12 to feel a little better when i found out my mom died the night before, my brother took me into his room and said come with me and grabbed a backpack, then we went out into the woods behind our house and smoked, and i smoked for that whole winter and following summer, and then i stopped until this last december when my grandpa died then i started smoking and stopped after i smoked all of the 27 grams[i only buy 1 gram under an ounce so i dont get felony charges if i get arrested] and i started again this summer when i started having sex with my girlfriend..im 15 now

 

I usually do it because I like the feeling of being high. Sometimes I do it for depression though.

 

To get high! it always just makes every situation i'm in better haha.

 

To relax, and to have a good time.

Dont do it on my own, it would seem pointless.

I do it with friends because i find it very fun, sociable and at the end, hilarious

No I dont' smoke anymore.

Why do people glorify it so much like it's a god? Just relax

 

I don't smoke. I really don't see the appeal, maybe it's just because it's had only negative effects on me. Meh, I guess it effects different people differently.

 

Because I find it enjoyable.

 

I dont like it when people glorify smoking it either, Its not a clever thing to do everyday, and to publicise it is even more stupid.

Also, marijuana takes away me stress and pain.

 

As a reward after a hard day's work/when I'm with friends TO GET HIGH!

 

I smoke weed as a anti-depressant,Cure migraines, pain, and to basically get high.....

 

Like the feeling, relaxes me.

 

I prefer the altered state of mind. I can stand sobriety, I just prefer being high.
