Fake Jagex Emails

So I got on my computer and saw that I had gotten my third email saying I had been banned for RWT.

But................................................. they were fake.

My spam folder is full of this shitty emails, and the phisher url looks very similar to the rs so beware

 

Yup, i logged and and it usually says Character name but it was just my log in name, so I changed my password, phew

I'm getting them on my emails that arn't even registered to a rs account lmao

It's people lurking sythe thats for sure, b/c they got my email, and i never use this email anywhere else.

 

So, what are you trying to say....? They are phish e-mails?

Just change your runescape password and as long as you didn't download anythign your fine.

When I logged into my email recently (the one I use for Sythe, ironically. Or wait, is that ironic.... hmm) and there was like 6 emails from "Jagex" in my spam folder that all had something to do with me recieving an infraction for RWT.

I have to give it to em though, the emails look so real. Except the URL's always lead to obviously fake sites, like runescope.com etc.

 

Good thing you changed your pass, if you log in on these websites they will steal your account. Don't click on the links.

 

I hate those emails, now they just get annoying. At first I was concerned but now I get them on such a regular basis I get really annoyed.

Yes people send phishers that look like official emails.

its just if you log in with your actual rsn and pass then thats where you should be scared
